The Education Committee of
ACA, Michigan cordially invites you to the
2010 Leadership Summit. Join camp professionals
from throughout the state as we reflect on
the year that was (and what a year it was),
plan for the year that will be, and celebrate
the success that we all had! Including sessions
on:
- The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly: Updates
on summer lessons, success, and trends
- Getting Funded: Grant writing and Fund
Development in Camping
- Telling your story:
PR, Marketing, and Social Media (and how
to do it on a shoestring)
And much more! Representatives from the
State of Michigan will be on hand to answer
questions about new licensing updates. An
optional session will end the day on updates
to the ACA Accreditation Standards. This
update courses is about 45 minutes and a
required class for all camps being visited
for accreditation this summer (highly recommended
for all ACA accredited camps even if you
are not getting visited) There is no cost
for this class but registration is required.
